speaker:

- Katharina Muhr von Minimali
- Sarah Julian von Niceshops
Katharina Johanna Muhr is an expert on the topic of sustainability. She worked at one of Austria’s first Zero Waste online shops “Mein Lieblingsstück”. During that time, she first encountered what it means to live a sustainable life. From 2018 until 2022 she was part of a small, young team of (freelance) journalists for the online magazine “Futter”. For her articles she mostly focused on topics such as sustainable and zero waste living, feminism, climate action and veganism.
In 2021 Katharina and her partner Marlene founded minimali – an online marketplace for sustainable household goods and body care. Not even a year later they opened their first store in Graz to make sustainable shopping even easier. Furthermore, she started the Instagram page @kathisimpact where she shares insights in sustainable lifestyle, tips and hacks everyone can apply in their own home.
Sarah Julian is a Deputy Manager for the Internationalisation Department at niceshops. She’s passionate about employee development and training and loves getting to know new employees through onboarding.
After completing her Bachelor’s in Communications and German in Michigan, Sarah moved to Seoul, South Korea to take on Hiring & Teaching for an elementary/middle school. Three years later, Sarah won a Fulbright grant to teach English in Graz. In 2014, a colleague happened to see that niceshops was looking for native English translators, and the rest has become history!
