This session will explore the infrastructure, climate, and social implications of a hydrogen-based energy future. What will the extensive use of hydrogen mean for climate goals, workers‘ rights, and global equity? And who holds the power to shape the transition of the energy economy?

Webinar 2: Empowering Change – Lessons from International Energy Communities
What if energy production and consumption were guided by the principles of democracy and community empowerment? Around the world, energy communities are redefining how we think about power—both literally and figuratively.
This session, featuring a Rowan Mataram from the Transnational Institute, will dive into inspiring stories and practical lessons from these grassroots movements, offering insights into how energy can be organized differently to promote equity and sustainability.
